Frequently Asked Questions

Will you board or groom my pet?2016-07-04T17:20:18-04:00

We do not provide routine pet boarding or routine grooming. Please see our Services section for information on nail trims or full-body shaving provided for pets that are too aggressive or panicked for regular grooming.

Do you charge “new client/patient”, “file opening”, or registration fees?2016-07-04T17:19:50-04:00

No, there are no additional fees for registration of a new patient, though every pet must have a complete physical examination performed for us to be able to give advice, write prescriptions, or pursue tests and treatments, to which our standard consultation fee applies.

Although we do not routinely perform house-call appointments, we do everything we can to meet the needs of our customers who require our services at their residence, including euthanasia of a pet. Please call us for more information to see if we can assist you.

Can I get prescriptions over the phone?2016-07-04T17:19:00-04:00

Yes, if we saw your pet recently for the medical condition that requires that specific medication, or if you need to renew a prescription that has already been authorized. In all other cases, we cannot diagnose or prescribe medication without performing a physical examination first. If medication is necessary, you may schedule an appointment so we can assess the problem and treat appropriately. We can fill renewals of certain medications over the phone provided they are approved by the attending doctor.
