Hôpital vétérinaire de la Montagne was founded in 1995 by Dr. Robert Michaud and Dr. Alida Jong. At that time, the clinic’s objective was to offer a wide range of primary care veterinary services with a personal touch by counselling and advising clients, offering therapeutic and life-stage diets, responding to emergencies, and providing house call services. In the following years, Dr. Jong decided to establish her own practice in Shawville close to her home, but continues to see her clients for alternative medicine treatments (acupuncture, homeopathy) in our clinic. Over the years our staff has changed and grown to be able to provide more diversified services. We are very fortunate to have a great team of receptionists, technicians and dedicated, competent veterinarians to allow us to provide high quality service for you and your pets.
